1. ELIGIBILITY
You must be a currently enrolled student at a college or university. Teams can have 1 to 4 members. Each person can be on only one team.
2. ORIGINAL WORK
Projects must be started and built during the hackathon period. Pre-existing projects, or projects that were substantially built before the event, will be disqualified. Using libraries, frameworks, public APIs, and pre-trained models is allowed.
3. AI USE
You are encouraged to use AI tools and models (including AI coding assistants) to build your project. Be transparent about it in your submission. Using AI to build is fine; presenting work you did not do as your own is not.
4. ONE SUBMISSION PER TEAM
Each team may submit one project, in one problem statement track only.
5. DEADLINES
Submissions must be completed on Devpost before the deadline. Late submissions will not be judged.
6. JUDGING
Judges will score projects on:
- Innovation and creativity (25%)
- Technical implementation and use of AI (25%)
- Impact and usefulness (25%)
- Design, user experience, and presentation (15%)
- Completeness of the submission (10%)
Judges' decisions are final.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Your project belongs to you. By submitting, you give the organizers permission to showcase your project and screenshots on the Devpost page and in promotional posts about the event.
8. CODE OF CONDUCT
Be respectful and inclusive. Harassment, discrimination, plagiarism, cheating, or harmful behavior of any kind will lead to immediate disqualification. Do not submit anything illegal, hateful, or that violates someone's privacy.
9. DISQUALIFICATION
Organizers may disqualify any team that breaks these rules, submits false information, or tampers with the judging process.
10. CHANGES
Organizers may update the schedule or rules if needed. Any changes will be announced on this page and by email.
Participation means you accept these rules.
